With the above in mind, Portescap has invested heavily in developing a broad portfolio of flat brushless DC slotted motors that offer speeds up to 10,000 rpm, diameters as small as 20mm and as large as 90mm, as well as a lower cost of ownership and a variety of customization capabilities. - 20ECF Flat Motor. The 20ECF brushless flat motor has an improved motor regulation factor due to its optimized electromagnetic circuit. The focus on high performance in a reduced footprint is exemplified by the motor’s smooth output torque, high power density, and stellar speed stability. At only 13 gms, the weight optimization of the 20mm brushless flat motor also helps ensure that this motor will excel in small spaces.
- 32ECF Flat Motor. The 32ECF brushless flat motor also employs an outer rotor configuration, but instead uses an air gap between the coil and magnetic structure being managed radially. The motor displays improved efficiency and lower heating, as well as speed stability, smooth output torque, and high power density.
- 45ECF Flat Motor. The 45ECF motor utilizes an outer rotor configuration with an overall body length of 22.5mm. Consisting of a 16-pole magnetic circuit, this motor is able to provide a torque output of up to 91 mNm, with its open body design allowing for better heat management.
- 90ECF Flat Motor. The 90ECF is the largest of Portescap’s flat slotted motor portfolio. It features an overall body length of 40mm and delivers a torque output up to 1 Nm. The performance-optimized design delivers excellent power density and smooth output torque in a compact package, making it well-suited for a variety of robotics and automation applications.
